| Story | Problem: To announce the news that the IKEA showroom was shifting its premises from Dubai City Centre to Dubai Festival City. An added challenge from IKEA, Sweden was that as per brand principal regulations, ‘whatever we do, we must show IKEA products...’ Solution: In a wonderful moment, where the problem became the solution arose a very simple visual idea. How about showing the ‘movement’ of popular IKEA products in the manner of animals migrating to a better place? Think Noah’s Ark! it ran in cinemas and as TVCs across the UAE, not to mention as online banners and outdoor too. Added milestone: This was the first major initiative from IKEA to make a presence on Zee TV in the UAE - circa 2005 and witnessed larger footfall to the IKEA store from thereon among the Indian subcontinent |
